creature comforts by a small bird

"a small bird" is the solo project of a queer trans artist based in Chicagoland.
Her second album, 'creature comforts' meditates on some different definitions of the word creature, both basically a synonym for monster, something that is inherently inhuman or less-than-human, and then conversely a precious or lovable person or entity. The illustration of these mistreated creatures having a pleasant tea party in the dark woods is both about the album and the wish for them to always be happy for whoever they are.

"Hansel & Gretel: Through the Infinity" is an imaginary book, published by non-existed publisher, loosely borrowed the name of Brothers Grimm's classic tale, that I illustrated the cover.
The only real thing about this is that the characters are based on my cats.
